We've been focusing a lot on two of our large projects in the last week. One is ABRC on Jefferson Hwy. It’s a breast cancer reconstruction center. The other is Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. Both projects have been fun to work on & see how they are getting closer to completion each week. 

In the background, we've still been slowly developing a site plan for a new OLOL remodel that includes a chapel courtyard space, new front entry and two atriums in the main lobby. 

Do not want to return to school.

Lately we’ve been focusing a lot on commercial projects like ABRC on Jefferson Hwy & Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. 

I also got the opportunity to help lead a crew at both locations, making sure the irrigation was installed properly & worked as it should. 

I’ve really enjoyed the internship & I do not look forward to returning to school.

Blog 1 - Cameron Restivo

Hi, this is my first blog, and I don't know what I'm supposed to say in it.

I'm interning at GroundWorks LA and working under Nick Musso in their design team. GroundWorks is a design build firm that began as a lawn maintenance business but has recently expanded to bring in more design-oriented projects. 

We've done a lot of planting plans for hotels (including the Columns Hotel) and restaurants (including Barracuda Tacos) in New Orleans as everyone has been preparing for Mardi Gras and Superbowl weekend.

Lastly, internship is much better than school.
